Amanda Schweinebraten
Varsity Head Coach

Amanda Schweinebraten (Coach A) has been involved in cheerleading, dance, and gymnastics since a very young age. She participated in SAA (Schaumburg Athletic Association), junior high, high school, and all-star programs, and is a proud alumna of Conant High School and varsity cheerleading program.
Amanda attended Illinois State University, where she was a member of ISU’s co-ed cheerleading team for four years. During her time at ISU, her all-girl stunt group qualified for UCA Nationals in Orlando, Florida. She later served as a Universal Cheerleading Association Instructor, teaching and training teams throughout the Midwest for eight years.
Amanda is a former IHSA official and regularly attends educational coaching clinics to continue developing her expertise. Amanda is actively involved in District's 211 Head Coaching Committee who serves to strengthen athletic programming and professional standards. Amanda was honored with induction into the Coaches Hall of Fame for Cheerleading in 2025, recognizing her years of leadership and contribution to the sport.
She currently serves as a Wellness Teacher at Conant High School, where she holds two master’s degrees in Physical Education and Principal Preparation. In addition, Amanda is a Group Fitness Instructor at Life Time Fitness, further expanding her impact in health, performance training, and lifelong wellness..

Christina Schweinebraten-Melone
Varsity Head Coach

Christina Schweinebraten Melone (Coach C) has dedicated over 30 years to the sport of cheerleading as an athlete, instructor, and leader. She competed on all-star teams, SAA, and is a proud alumna of Conant High School and its varsity cheerleading program.
Christina attended Illinois State University, where she was a four-year member of the Co-ed Cheerleading Team. During her time at ISU, she and her co-ed partner qualified for and competed at NCA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. She later served as a Universal Cheerleading Association Instructor for seven years, training teams throughout the Midwest and developing the next generation of athletes.
In recognition of her longstanding impact and leadership within the sport, Christina was inducted into the Coaches Hall of Fame for Cheerleading in 2025. She is currently serving her second year on the IHSA Cheerleading Advisory Board, collaborating with state leaders to guide policy, safety standards, and the continued advancement of cheerleading across Illinois.
Professionally, Christina serves as a Mathematics Teacher and Instructional Coach at Conant High School and holds two master’s degrees in Mathematics and Principal Preparation.

Toni Bartuch

Toni BartuchJunior Varsity Head Coach​ Toni Bartuch (Coach B) has been passionate about cheerleading from a young age, getting her start with ICE All Star Cheer and continuing at Mead Junior High. She is a proud alumna of Conant High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader and contributed to both a state championship and a state runner-up finish. Toni went on to cheer coed at Illinois State University for four years, where her team qualified for UCA Nationals in Orlando, FL, and placed 8th in the nation. After college, she served as the Head JV Coach at York High School for three years. Toni now teaches Spanish at York High School and holds a master’s degree in educational technology, combining her love of teaching and coaching to help student-athletes grow in skill, confidence, and teamwork.
